| Well, I've finally getting around to doing some work on the site. It's amazing what two years of graduate school can do to throw a wrench into various prior projects! Well, well... be sure to stay tuned for some interesting new materials very soon. |
rv media was founded in 1998 as way to expand my work in a variety of media fields, as well as a place to house many of my ceative ideas for media activism and social change-inspired filmmaking. The idea behind all of the media work that rv media does is very simple--media for social change--meaning our projects seek to both support and create social change through their creation, growth and expansion in a variety of mediums--both static and digital--as well as a variety of environments--both virtual and real. Over the years a number of exciting projects have been completed, including several full-length documentaries, and a number of smaller featurettes. rv media was there in Seattle for the WTO bruhaha, again in 2001 at the World Bank/IMF meetings, the 2000 Republican National Convention, and even the 2005 inaguration of Bush. While I may note have always had the camera rolling, I was busy studying and writing about the events unfolding in front of me. |
